Antiquus Research
Founded in 2007 CE (Common Era), Antiquus (Ancient) Research is an independent, non-profit research project devoted to the research, study, and analysis of the ancient, ancestral, cultural, and religio-spiritual practices of humankind who engaged in the vastness of Alternative Religions and Spiritualities (ARS). The scope and focus of activities involve conducting purposeful independent research, and thus presenting truthful information, as accurately as possible, based upon historical and theological records, interviews, oral history, theories, postulates (hypotheses), concepts, and other pertinent resources about Historical Theology as this relates to the Occult Metaphysical Sciences, Ancient Religions, Afrikan Traditional Religions (ATRs), Early Paganism, Esoteric Mysticism, Neo-Paganism, Wicca, Witchcraft, Alternative Religions & Spiritualities (i.e., such as, Hoodoo, Vodou (Voodoo), and Santería) which are indeed the roots and foundations of many of the surviving religions and spiritual paths through modern times globally and universally. Ancient to modern mystical, spiritual, and religious practices will be researched and discussed here. The early theological and historical landscapes of ancient Egypt, Greece, Rome, Asia, Mayan, and Aztec civilizations will be delved into as well. This eGroup is open to those who are sincerely open-minded and interested in sharing their knowledge and experiences.
