Amen: One Definition

This word or phrase, "amen" or "Amen", is generally an expression of agreement, ratification, and confirmation utilized during spiritual worship and/or religious services by the Greek, Jewish, Nordic, Gnostic, Christian, Muslim, Ancient Egyptian papyri, and more as well as having been introduced into spells of "Anathema". Note that all spells and spell casting are not performed for negative or evil intent or results; spells are also cast for purposes of spiritual benefaction via the elementals of Mother Nature (i.e., earth, air, fire, water, and ether or spirit) for positive results.

This word derives from an etymological, Semitic (Hebrew) root word meaning "fixed" or "sure” with many different pantheistic (i.e., the worship or divination of all goddesses and gods along all lines of creeds) scriptural references. Another etymological note, regarding the word "Semitic", and according to the Merriam-Webster definition:
"…of, relating to, or constituting a subfamily of the Afro-Asiatic language family that includes Hebrew, Aramaic, Arabic, and Amharic…"

To continue, this word, "Amen", is generally capitalized in many circles. "Amen" is also considered to be a form interjection—spoken and grammatically. "Amen" is also a word that is sung (found in secular music such as in a hymn) and used as a form of salutation. "Amen" has been expressed by many people, in the United States, during the 1960's and 1970's as a form of agreement such as, "Amen brother or Amen sister"; similar to the expression "Right On!" which is just as spiritual in many communities, cultural, and non-secular circles. The Greek version of the Old Testament (or "diatheke") often scripturally translates "Amen" as meaning "so be it" which is quite similar in connotation to the phrase, "So mote it be", found in many metaphysical spellwork and rituals of the Old Religion (i.e., Witchcraft) and Neo-Pagan Wicca. The word "mote" derives from the archaic--meaning "may or might".

Around the 2nd century C.E., the Christian faith had assimilated the word "amen" into its doxology (i.e., as a liturgical expression of praise to their god) along with and in reference to its monotheistic premises and evangelical regime vehemently (i.e., "by any means necessary") attempting to force everyone into its belief system as unfortunately being witnessed in the United States of today; and as historically noted from the earlier Christian twelve centuries of suppression of heresy, holy inquisition, and the Burning Times.

In the final analysis, this word "amen or Amen" has often been interpreted as a spiritually, solemn assertion or approval of one’s faith.

Readings in Occult Theosophy

[1] Occult Chemistry: Clairvoyant Observations on the Chemical Elements [1919] by Annie Wood Besant and Charles Webster Leadbeater:
"The deep interest and importance of the research which this book describes will best be appreciated if introduced by an account of the circumstances out of which it arose. The first edition, consisting mainly of articles reprinted from the Theosophist, dealt at once with the later phases of the research in a way which, though intelligible to the occult student, must have been rather bewildering to the ordinary reader. These later phases, however, endow the earlier results with a significance that in the beginning could only be vaguely conjectured. I am the better entitled to perform the task that has been assigned to me—that of preparing the present edition—by reason of the fact that it was in my presence and at my instigation that the first efforts were made to penetrate the mystery previously enshrouding the ultimate molecule of matter..."

[2] Thought-Forms [1901] by Annie Wood Besant and Charles Webster Leadbeater:
"As knowledge increases, the attitude of science towards the things of the invisible world is undergoing considerable modification. Its attention is no longer directed solely to the earth with all its variety of objects, or to the physical worlds around it; but it finds itself compelled to glance further afield, and to construct hypotheses as to the nature of the matter and force which lie in the regions beyond the ken of its instruments. Ether is now comfortably settled in the scientific kingdom, becoming almost more than a hypothesis. Mesmerism, under its new name of hypnotism, is no longer an outcast. Reichenbach's experiments are still looked at askance, but are not wholly condemned. Röntgen's rays have rearranged some of the older ideas of matter, while radium has revolutionised them, and is leading science beyond the borderland of ether into the astral world. The boundaries between animate and inanimate matter are broken down. Magnets are found to be possessed of almost uncanny powers, transferring certain forms of disease in a way not yet satisfactorily explained. Telepathy, clairvoyance, movement without contact, though not yet admitted to the scientific table, are approaching the Cinderella-stage. The fact is that science has pressed its researches so far, has used such rare ingenuity in its questionings of nature, has shown such tireless patience in its investigations, that it is receiving the reward of those who seek, and forces and beings of the next higher plane of nature are beginning to show themselves on the outer edge of the physical field. 'Nature makes no leaps,' and as the physicist nears the confines of his kingdom he finds himself bewildered by touches and gleams from another realm which interpenetrates his own. He finds himself compelled to speculate on invisible presences, if only to find a rational explanation for undoubted physical phenomena, and insensibly he slips over the boundary, and is, although he does not yet realise it, contacting the astral plane..."

Terminology: Wicca, Wiccan

For many practitioners within the Craft, Paganism, Alternative Religions, and Alternative Spiritual Paths residing in the United States--the terms "Wicca, Wiccan" are only used due to the fact that Wicca is a legally recognized religion in theUnited States which "permits" us to practice the rites, rituals, and spells of Witchcraft in connection with the physical laws of Nature and the metaphysical laws of our Universe (or Cosmos). The Legal Basis For Wicca "Dettmer vs. Landon -This is the court case that made Wicca a legally recognized religion in the United States."The case was Dettmer v. Landon. A 29 year old inmate incarcerated at the Powhatan Correctional Center in State Farm, Virginia claimed that his First Amendment right to the free exercise of his religion, the Church of Wicca, was violated by prison officials who refused to give him any access to his religion's worship materials. Prison officials said that the worship materials that Dettmer seeked--candles; a statue; a white robe; incens[e]; and either sulfur, seasalt, or uniodized salt--would be hazardous to prison security. The prison officials also claimed that the Church of Wicca is not areligion entitled to First Amendment protection..." Past Life Regression

Past Life Regression

When there are enough stories on record that go back to reinforce the theories of reincarnation, how and where can we deny them? So we are left with absolutely no choice but to believe that we did live life earlier once and we did die and get into this current life. There are certain theories that also express that what we are in this life is the karma or the results of our previous births. Given this fact, then is it not quite surprising that each and every one of us is keen to know what we were in our previous births – but is this practically possible?

IT is if you have the past life regression recording to help you. This unique recording helps you to oscillate between frequencies that influence dreaming and your waking activities and lets you get to a state in between that helps in understand your past life. Once your brain starts reading these frequencies, then it becomes very easy for you to look back at the pages of your past life, like you are reading a book, right from your present mental condition. So you will be so much aware of yourself when you are actually in the process of looking back at your own life.

To actually explain how this happens – you might need to know a little about what frequencies would interfere with what. The alpha frequency is the one where you are completely aware and totally active. The theta frequency on the other hand, is the frequency that helps in dreaming and other related activities. So when you want to actually look at your past life, then there is a necessity to oscillate between the frequencies of the alpha and the theta levels and that is precisely what our binaural beat recording helps you to do. It helps your brain to get into the alpha and theta frequency levels at the required levels so that you are able to easily view the past lives that you have had – what you were and what you did and you end up feeling you have lived your past live all over again!

Though you might have difficulty to start off with to vary your levels of these alpha and theta frequencies, with practice and time, it is only going to get all the more easy – practice makes perfect and that applies for everything – even for past life regression. Also our binaural beat recorder helps you to easily pick up these various levels of frequencies. Going through your past life could be a revelation in itself and you are sure to understand the purpose of your current life. Apart from learning to correct the things that went wrong last time, you could also take a leaf out of your past life and try to put our current lives to the best that we can. This is indeed a very good thing and one good reason why every one of us should try to look back – to our past lives.

Editor’s Note: "The source of the memories is more likely cryptomnesia and confabulations that combine past experiences, knowledge, imagination and suggestion or guidance from the hypnotist than recall of a previous existence." Divination Theory

Theory of Divination
by
Tim Maroney
(1990)

"'Divination' is the production of information by magical, occult, or supernatural means. Tarot cards, I Ching, astrology, and the other well-known oracles are forms of divination.

Many other forms of divination are known, such as the prophecying of the Pythoness at the ancient shrine of Apollo at Delphi; oneiromancy or dream interpretation; geomancy, divination by making dots in a tray of sand; bibliomancy, flipping randomly to a passage in a book (usually the Bible); chiromancy or palm-reading; necromancy, communing with dead souls; pyromancy or divination by flames; crytallomancy or crystal-gazing; ornithomancy, interpretation of the flights and cries of birds; and, of course, the Tibetan milk-bottle method of Special Agent Dale Cooper..."

Turn Your Candle Making Into a Money Spinner

Turn Your Candle Making Into a Money Spinner - Learn How
By
Kaye Dennan

Working from home can be a lot of fun and so less stressful than trying to battle the traffic and get home in time for the kiddies arriving from school. Producing your very own candle designs to make some extra money or even turn into a small home based business is not so very difficult.

Candle making is a fantastic way to make money if you are in the least bit arty and another great benefit is the fact that to start candle making is relatively cheap compared to some other small businesses you may want to start at home.

What is essential though, with the candle making craft is that you know exactly how to make a professional looking product and how to market it. Beautiful candles sell themselves, so concentrate on color, design and on quality candle fragrances.

Candles are ideal to take to markets, run party plans with or sell online and once you are confident you will be able to look for specialty shops to stock your products if that is what you want.

What you will need to get started is the right instructions to make sure that you attack this hobby in the right way. Candle designs change according to decor changes, as do most other art forms and once you know the basic techniques to make candles, you won't find it too difficult to keep abreast of the latest trends and change your designs to suit

Embedding flowers and petals into wax is a lovely technique, as is adding foil. Ice candles can be so effective. White candles with red chunks in them look great for Christmas. When you think about it, the possibilities are endless. Learn the correct way how to make candles and you will feel confident and happy with your work right from the beginning.

Marketing your product

Once you are happy with having learned some good techniques for candle making you can go ahead and start your business. Before setting about buying wax and making stock, research your market and know where you are going to sell your product. There are many ways and places to sell, but you need to research this so that you are making candles to suit your market.

Say you are selling at a market where there are a lot of tourists coming through it would be a good idea to have a 'boxed range' so that tourists can buy to take home as a holiday gift. Using your imagination in this way your research will help you decide exactly where to place your product in the market.

Party Plan
Make your candles in a 'theme' or a 'range' and here are some ideas:

  • aromatherapy candles
  • scented candles - popular scents
  • designer candles - glass containers
  • theme candles - Christmas, Halloween

From this you can see that there are a number of options. They are mentioned here for Party Plan but they could just as well be used for selling at markets and fetes, or even on the internet. It is very satisfying making money from a hobby that you enjoy and the selling opportunities with homemade candles are many and varied.

Kaye Dennan has been an art teacher and loves to share her enthusiasm for all things in the art field. Her ebook 'Candle Making - Start with Confidence' takes you step by step through making a candle. There are safety tips, a list of equipment needed and projects to help you get your confidence before tackling bigger projects. Just go to http://www.candlemakingcraft4u.com/home-business.php to read all about how to get started.

    NASA: Phoenix Mars Lander

    NASA: Phoenix Mars Lander
    According to NASA:
    http://www.nasa.gov/?source=OrbDev

    *****

On another significant note from those of us who sentiently interact and work with Nature and thee Cosmic / Universe (forces / energies) all of the time:

Via Astral Projection, I am sure that some of you have visited the planet of Mars and have not been "anal-probed"!

As I watched the televised news today, my focus was on the emotional reactions of those NASA scientists who where interviewed--all we heard from them was only a vocal "WOW"...that's all?

Once again, this is very typical and obvious that these NASA scientists and their associates (sanctioned by the U.S. and other governments) DO NOT know what to look for. I hope that the Phoenix Robot has "learned" from its creators to look for more.... And what this robot uncovers will not be hidden from anyone within our Universe we all share cosmically, metaphysically, spiritually.

Take no offense to what I have stated because you do know that I speak the truth backed with facts!

And yes, we can discuss geology, botany, and aspects of astronomy on your academic level.

All in all, the Temple of Kemetic Wicca is pro Space Exploration! NASA, we're on your side--but you need to consider taking a few bona fide Alternative Spiritualists on your Space Missions in order to verify that the notion of heaven and hell have always been fabrications and machinations of many feeble minds.

    Hetep,

    ~Frater Kheti
